Mooresville Foreign Vehicle Repair Experts
We are often asked whether or not auto mechanics need to have special foreign vehicle repair training to fix cars such as Audi, Mercedes, BMW or Volkswagen. Not all vehicles are made the same, so they should not be repaired the same. Many foreign auto makers tend to use proprietary parts, or will only work with parts of the same brand. For example, German cars tend to require German parts. When it comes to foreign vehicle repair or performing regular maintenance, it’s important to have these cars serviced by skilled and reputable technicians that have the knowledge, experience and equipment to be able to diagnose and repair these cars properly.
With over 75 years combined technician experience, our ASE certified team of factory-trained auto mechanics can quickly diagnose engine issues for nearly all domestic and foreign vehicles. What does it mean to be factory-trained? It means that your auto technician has been trained to specialize in specific brands and/or models, and perform repairs according to the auto manufacturer’s standards. This is most common at dealership service centers, followed by independent shops that specialize in foreign vehicle repair. All else being equal, factory training a considered to be a significant plus.
